Looking ahead to the 2020 Presidential Election, we focused a recent survey on likely Democratic Presidential Primary voters. Findings from our poll revealed 72% of Democrat Presidential Primary voters would consider voting for Joe Biden in 2020, with Bernie Sanders not far behind at 66% consideration. Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren compete closely behind, with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson being the only celebrity-like candidate tested making the way into the top 5. Big names like, Mark Cuban, Tom Steyer and Howard Schultz haven’t garnered much attention or name recognition for this race yet. John Delaney, the only “major” declared candidate, has lowest name recognition out of all of the people tested.
Unsurprisingly, 4 out of every 5 respondents want the President impeached. Despite the majority of Democrat Presidential Primary voters wanting to see POTUS out of the White House, voters that were of political age during Clinton’s impeachment are less likely to support another impeachment. However, there is a silver lining for Republicans: Democrats are showing real discontent for their own Party’s leadership. 58% want to replace Pelosi as the Congressional leader of their party with another Democrat. Just recently, we witnessed a young, socialist woman beat a veteran Congressman in NY-14. We are experiencing, in real time, the Democrat Party’s far left movement favoring big government and high spending.
